Users review: Do not laugh so hard at a movie in a long time. I have to go to a previous session, and was excited because I was dying to see it. I had tears of laughter for much of the film. The audience all shared my laughter, and they were clapping and shouting with most movie.Kudos to Steve Carrell (I've been a fan of). He proves in this film his immense talent for comedy. It has a style I have not seen before. And Catherine Keener is excellent, as always. Thank God it was a cameo by Will Ferrell (love it, but I saw a lot in the summer). He was part of the comic genius in this film. Partly thanks Carrell, and partly thanks to the writing (also Carrell). Scene hair removal participant's speed dating with obvious problem was completely hysterical.I will certainly watch 40 Year Old Virgin when released. My advice: go see the great laugh and a fun film on top of it. |
