Users review: When I talk about this movie with my friends, I did not even refer to it by name, but as a film. When I say The Movie, my friends know exactly what Im talking about. In fact, the main reason that I and my friends do not refer to it by name, because this film is so great that they do not feel worthy enough to say his name in vain! I still remember when I first saw The Shawshank Redemption. Some friends and I went to see one of these budget Theatre in the summer of 1995. None of us knew anything about the film, but we heard it was very good. No real expectations, we have seen. When the credits rolled and the lights came on in the theater, we all sat there with our jaws hanging on the ground. I turned my head to my friend Bob and said it was the best movie I've ever seen in my life! Theres really no other way to put into words. Every moment of this film won me and inspired me to believe in the one true thing in life ...... hope. This movie is sad, uplifting, inspirational, hard, cold, funny (in time), huge and warm all at the same time. I get chills every time I watch this film and this film contains the highest end (which takes place in the last 30 minutes) in film history! How it all works together is just so amazing and uplifting. I also want to mention the music in this film is nearly flawless, and the soundtrack is a must buy for any music lover. The only bad thing about this film is the fact that I know I will never be a better film, no matter how much I can see. Ive seen many movies in the past few years, many great movies. However, every time I come out of the theater, I turned off my friends or family members that I saw it with, and I tell you, that was a great movie, but it was not as good as you know what! There are a lot of films in recent years have felt that would really move me or that I might one day call my favorite of all time, but they have all fallen away from The Shawshank Redemption. So if you have yet to see this film, please immediately run out to the video store. Guaranteed to find an employee abe attracts section. And if it is not in this area, then you need to tell you that there is something seriously wrong with them. There Employed If you see this movie, go to the weather. If you have not bought your copy yet, buy one. In fact, buy two and put one in a fireproof safe, just in case of emergency. : O) So, you want 1-10 rating? I give it a 13! |
