Users review: I saw a preview of this movie and I thought, wow seems female version of the hangover. Although it was not the same story, and hangover, it was about the moments leading up to the wedding. First I looked around the theater and saw it was 95% female, and I started to feel like I made a mistake. But by the end I was pleasantly surprised that there were a lot of good humor involved. Some of them are considered man humor, but actually it's all women in the theater laughing their asses off. There is a little part of the movie chicken to it between the main character and a man, but it is such a small part of the film, which I would say its about 85% and 15% of romantic comedy / chick flick. So as a man, I can honestly say I enjoyed the movie. Most of these types of movies guys making a complete ass himself and almost never see the same women. Hollywood always wants to make women look perfect, but I see women making rude remarks about his genitals, and its great to see that women can be funny in this respect as well. I think it was a great movie for women of humor, because I have long thought that comedy is dominated by the actors, and I'm just waiting for some women to jump out there and start clearing the road. Good thing about this movie! |
