At age 21, Tim discovers he can travel in time and change what is happening and has happened in their lives. His decision to make their world a better place, get a girlfriend who actually is not as easy as you might think.

Users review: Initial impressions of books, movies, games, music and a piece can sometimes be ill-considered. I revised my opinion sometimes the job with the passage of time. I am sure, however, that I did not change my mind about the time, the pure brilliance that is quite bowled over me over. They are not only one of the very best films I've seen recently. They are one of the best I have seen. Yes, I think good.About Time is a romantic comedy about the vicissitudes of life and love. They are witty, wise, intelligent and very funny. But it is also a film, perhaps more surprisingly deep. The main element of the film is the relationship between Tim (Domnhall Gleeson), a young lawyer living in London, and his father (Bill nigy), who lives with his mother, Tim (Lindsay Duncan), Cornwall. Tim father is capable of time travel. He can not change history, at that, but he can review past experiences and incidents of your life and change your results. Tim has inherited this ability from his father (a gift that seems to be inherited from the male side of the family). He uses it to improve your love life. He built a strong bond and a young family with Mary (Rachel McAdams). But soon he realizes that his exceptional gift does not protect him from the normal ups and downs of family life. Indeed, one of the most moving scenes in the film (and there are many), Tim is having a conversation with his father's teaching, that is the end of cancer. Performances, script, direction and sound is first-class. Humor is great. There is one very funny scene in which Tim nervously meets his potential in-laws for the first time, and blurts out a confession that he and Mary did not engage in oral sex. It is also a very funny sex scene. The soundtrack includes music by the Cure, Amy Winehouse and Nick Cave. Indeed, he appeared Cave song Into My Arms, composed theme themes represented in the film, and receive specific mention of Tim's father, when he discussed his funeral arrangements with Tim. About Time is a very watchable, intelligent and witty film that could so easily landed on the mawkishness and sentimentality. But it is not. His brilliant film that creates a particular audience in mind all sorts of important questions about life, love and fidelity. Do go and see it. 10/10. |
