Users review: The Green Mile is one of those books that my favorite Stephen King and I have read it several times. I was anticipating the film version of concern, but was worried about the emotional impact of the book could not be reproduced on screen. Fortunately, this story was wonderfully adapted by Frank Darabont, who has done such a magnificent job of bringing God's Kings Shawshank Redemption on the screen. He worked on the same high quality and Mile in green. History is Fidela book, only to lose the details were not important in the history of the road. Casting is superb - every actor is perfect for her role and does an excellent job, although I would like to have one from Doug Hutchison. Painted in old Percy is right on the mark and suggest the complexity of this character I discovered the book. The length is about three hours and it seems that critics complain about this. I can not understand the complaints. The film never draws and is never boring, and it certainly did not feel three hours long. Length by telling this story the way it should be told, and the story is so very fascinating. Best of all, Darabont and actors will bring many emotions ot the screen, to speak loudly like a baby in several scenes. The Green Mile will haunt you. |
