Users review: It is unfortunate that so many of the books need to be cut for time, and the film remains nearly 2 1/2 hours. The rules of video editing is when you have to cut the time you remove the sub-plots. A lot of story and character development are there.But what an amazing visual treat. If the film leaves you with questions just read the book or get the audio version on CD. It would have taken at least half an hour to flesh out the movie and simply will not be done by the studio which is the primary target audience of age. (Note that no studio wants to release an animated film for longer than 90 minutes for this reason.) May be Alphonso Crone can do a better job of binding, but not really a lot more could have been done in time and The script is essentially the same with each other. The film is set for an extended Lord of the Rings DVDs, 30-60 minutes to tell you what was on stage release.See be convened as and when, and spend bucks to see on the big screen. |
