Users review: So this just now in a small indie film in Heidelberg, Germany, and I must say it was messing around. In my humble opinion, this movie manages to be both funny picture of Wes Anderson so far and his most melancholy. Full uncompromising stylishness of his other work is also present here, perhaps even increased, but unlike Aquatic life (and to a certain extent, The Darjeeling Limited), emphasis here is firmly on site. Brave and often odd visuals never overwhelm the story and the audience never feel that they are not quite in earnest, as in life aquatic environment. The tone is a tendency to get a bit unstable, isæri the last third of the film, as Anderson seems to want to pack as much into each frame of the film is a little cartoonish at times (hence the non-perfect score from me). In general, however, the story is very well balanced and high stimulation. The two young leads fine, and a bold move by Anderson place unknown actors and center front pays off handsomely. Other actors on the paper even more stellar than Royal Tenenbaums and yet Anderson never send to the unnecessary character development just to put their stars. Select this option and press is more than enough to paint a picture of a group of people who are very similar to their dissatisfaction with their lives, and yet react very differently to the two young lovers dash (literally) of happiness . Finally, you need to visit for lovers of Anderson and is highly recommended for everyone else. |
