Users review: The Green Mile is one of my favorite Stephen King books, and I read it a few times. Preparing for my alarmed movie version, but the fact that the emotional impact of the book can not be replicated on the screen. Fortunately, this is a wonderful story adapted Frank Darabont, who do such a great job of bringing to the King's Shawshank Redemption screen. He did not get the same high quality The Green Mile. The story is faithful to the book, but losing details that are not relevant to the story anyway. The casting is superb - every actor is perfect for his role and do a good job, but I want to point Doug Hutchison. His rendition of the odious Percy directly at sign, and suggests the complexity of the characters, I have not discovered this book. The length is about three hours and it seems that critics complain that it is. I can not understand the complaints. The film never pulls and never boring, and it does not feel like three hours. The length required for the story of how it should be, andthe story is so fascinating tell. Best of all, Darabont-using actors to the screen was so much emotion that I cried like a baby for several scenes. The Green Mile chase. |
