Users review: Jack Nicholson is a great actor. There is not a great actor, a remarkable actress. This film is quite early in his career, and it has a few other actors in this film, which later had a long, great career including Danny devito, Christopher Lloyd and Brad dourif. The film has a few moments ... who could forget Louise Fletchers icy stare, Jack Nicholsons smart Alec comments or Sampsons impressive, almost silent performance? The film portrays the horrible truth about how the mental institution were treated at the time, and tells the story of someone who desperately wants to break the insurgents to change things for themselves and others. I was forced to be the first frame of the movie. I never took my eyes, and I definitely think this movie. I thought it was a great opportunity to show the first frame of the institution as something more like a prison than a hospital. Milos Forman did a very good job of making it a very powerful contrast to the viewer. The film is very moving and truly beautiful cinematic experience. Each participant gives stellar performance, each character is completely finished, every line, every frame is absolutely perfect. I did not change anything in this movie. He has great speed, do not lose interest, but it never seems to rush to get out of this, either. Its just perfect. I have not read the original book, but if you ever come across it, I could not control it. I've only seen this movie once, but I will definitely watch it many times over the years. I recommend this amazing piece of a great film for anyone who has at least a small interest in the drama?? Genre or a fan of any of the actors as they are all in their absolute prime in this movie. 10/10 |
