Users review: Lindsay Lohan plays a teen girl trying to put together a new high school. This time she plays a girl at home in Africa, their first experience in a public school, a clique of nasty girls used plastic, gossip and other methods of torture, her social life.The try History ruin trained color makes it sound like just another generic teen movie but it's actually very funny and realistic. The cynical person pointed out that it was a cheap rip-off of Heather's, and they are similar. While Heather is a good movie, Mean Girls is an even better film. I think Mean Girls is very good for a number of reasons. First, the script is really creative and intelligent. Tina Fey appears that the youth comedies they can relate to and want to understand, and they did it in Mean Girls. Of course there were a few lame scenes, but nothing that kills the film. Tina Fey SNL, and focus on her career in movies.Second, the acting is very good and convincing. Rachel McAdams offers the best and funniest performance as Regina. Her character is very mean (hence the title), but I found it so hard to really hate them. She has the charm and sucking on it so hard to hate the audience in her side. Lindsay Lohan gives a good performance as Cady. Their best scenes with Rachel. They have a very good chemistry together. Other plastic is played by Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried. They also give good performances and scenes that all plastic is very entertaining. The rest of the supporting cast is pretty good, and Tina Fey also has a small role as Cady's math teacher.Another why Mean Girls is so good because its really funny for people over the age of 21. It is not only for teenagers but also for adults. Mark Waters seems to be very well made comedies like Freaky Friday and harmless. He keeps the film short yet extremely entertaining. I really do not understand how someone could actually give this film a one. I understand that some people find it over the top or silly, but they did not earn. Deserve to see this smart and funny teen movie in the end. Rating 8/10 |
